Cheryl Steiger was born and educated in the Village of Riverwoods, IL. She attended the American Academy of Art in Chicago. Cheryl is a free-lance commercial artist and is also an art instructor to both young and old students. Her classes are held regularly at the Suburban Fine Arts Center in Highland Park, Solomon Schechter Elementary School, Evanston Art Center, and Evanston Art Center. She continues to do commissions and shows her artwork locally.
Cheryl's paintings reveal a desire for artistic expression with colors and shape that can be appreciated by both the young and the old.
